1. Prayer:

Read the opening prayer together as you begin (page 15).

a. Have you witnessed some of the glories of God’s creation and heard God’s voice as you’ve walked along some biblical paths?

a. Q1: What does it mean to believe in "life everlasting"? Is it a place or a relationship?

b. The Apostles Creed ends with "I believe in . . . the life everlasting. What is eternal life, or the life everlasting?

a. What is a covenant?

b. The word "testament" means "covenant" - - therefore in your Hebrew and Greek Bibles you have not only the "old testament" and the "new testament" - - you have the "old covenant" and the "new covenant".

c. The Eden Covenant was "I will be your God - - and you will be my people!". It did not "people" long to break that covenant.

d. What is the "new covenant"?

e. Can the "new covenant" be combined with the "old covenant" - - or does it replace it?

a. What does it mean to "fall short of the glory of God?"

a. In the Lord’s prayer, we pray - - "Thy Kingdom come..." - - what is the kingdom that we pray to come?

b. Is the Kingdom "here and now" or "something in the future"?

e. Evangelist Dr. E. Stanley Jones described the Kingdom of God this way - - "Christlikeness Universalized". Does that help?
